Manchester Cycling Scene

The city that built British cycling.

Manchester is home to the National Cycling Centre — the Manchester Velodrome that launched a generation of British Olympic champions. The city's passion for cycling extends from the track to the roads of Greater Manchester and the spectacular Peak District on its doorstep.

Manchester and the North West have a strong road cycling club culture, with clubs ranging from small local groups to large competitive road racing clubs. All of them need kit that looks professional and performs on the road.

My Team Kit supplies custom cycling jerseys, bib shorts and full club kit to clubs across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and the North West — with Flexible Club Pricing and free design service.

Ordering from My Team Kit

The questions clubs ask us

What should a Manchester club order first?

Wet-weather kit earns its keep faster here than almost anywhere. Clubs riding out towards the Peak District tend to put a long sleeve jersey and a windproof gilet in the first order alongside the short sleeve jersey, rather than treating them as a second-season addition. Overshoes and a base layer follow quickly for anyone riding through the winter.

Do you supply track kit as well as road kit?

We supply skinsuits, which is what most track riding calls for, in the same design and colour profile as your road kit. Tell us at the quote stage if you want them on the same order — there is no penalty for mixing disciplines.

Will the print survive constant wet-weather washing?

Yes. Sublimation dyes the fibre rather than sitting on top of it, so there is no layer to lift or crack however often the kit goes through the machine. That matters more in a wet climate, where a jersey may be washed after every ride.

How long does an order to Manchester take?

Four to five weeks from artwork approval, delivered to one address. If you are working back from a specific date — the start of the club run season, a charity ride — tell us at the quote stage and we will confirm it before you commit.
