Cycling jersey sizing — how to measure and what to order.

Getting the size right the first time saves everyone time. Here's the complete guide to measuring for cycling jerseys, bib shorts and trisuits — plus the full My Team Kit size chart.

How to take your measurements

📏
Chest (essential)

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal under your armpits. Arms at your sides. This is your primary sizing measurement for jerseys and trisuits.

📐
Height (useful)

Height helps confirm the right size for tall or short riders where chest measurement sits between sizes. Very tall riders (185cm+) may prefer to size up for body length.

🦵
Inside leg (bib shorts)

For bib shorts, measure from your crotch to the floor in bare feet. This confirms bib length is correct — important for riders who are significantly shorter or taller than average.

⚖️
Between sizes?

Racing riders: go smaller for aerodynamics. Club and leisure riders: go larger for comfort on longer rides. If you're in any doubt, share your chest, height and inside leg and we'll advise.

Sizing questions

Should I size up or down in cycling jerseys?
Most club cyclists should size to their chest measurement for a standard club fit. Road jerseys sit closer to the body than everyday clothing — they should feel snug but not restrictive. Racing riders often go down a size for aerodynamics. If you're between sizes and ride for leisure or sportives, go up. If you race, go down or stay true to your chest measurement.
How do I collect sizes from my club members?
Share this page with your members and ask them to identify their size from the chest chart. A simple spreadsheet or Google Form works well — ask for name, size, and garment type (jersey only vs full kit). Collect sizes before submitting the order. We also provide a club ordering template on request.
Can I return or exchange if a size is wrong?
Custom-printed garments can't be returned as standard, since each one is made specifically for your order. This is why we send a full size chart before production — and why collecting accurate chest measurements from members is important. In cases where we've made a sizing error on our end, we'll always remake at our cost.
Do women's jerseys come in the same sizes as men's?
No — women's cycling jerseys are cut to different patterns and measured differently. See the women's size chart above. Women's jerseys use the same chest measurement system but the patterns are specific to female proportions. Don't use the men's chart for women's sizing.
